I spent my first year post-college working at a local coffee shop. That job taught me how to create & appreciate milk foam that has been steamed to a whipped cream consistency. It’s a skill that very few chain coffee shops bother to teach their baristas. Every few months I get out my little home espresso machine & make myself a latte to test/practice my milk foaming skills. This morning’s new fallen snow provided the perfect excuse to whip up a drink, curl up on the couch & savor some whipped creamy milk foam.
