Sharing is caring!

This year, great crested flycatchers took advantage of a nesting box in the woods near my parent’s house in northern Michigan. Mom and Dad flycatcher (top photo) spent all day flying back and forth to the box bringing their little ones a wide variety of nasty insects. On the last day of my visit, one of their babies (bottom photo) came out of the nest and spent some time checking out the world around it.
