Recipe: Slow Cooker Savory Spiced Nuts

Sharing is caring!

This delicious, savory snack swaps the cinnamon and sugar for garlic and rosemary. These savory spiced nuts roast in your slow cooker and make a great homemade gift for your favorite snack lover.

5 cups mixed nuts
1 Tbsp garlic olive oil*
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried rosemary OR 2 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped

Place the nuts in your slow cooker. Add olive oil and stir until the nuts are coated.

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and rosemary.

Add the spice mixture to your slow cooker and stir until all of the nuts are well-coated.

Put the lid on your slow cooker and set it to low.

Cook nuts for 2 hours, stirring every 20 mins or so.

Spread the warm, savory spiced nuts out on a rimmed baking sheet.

Allow to cool completely before enjoying or storing in your pantry.

*Regular olive oil works great here if you don’t have garlic olive oil on hand or don’t love garlic as much as we do.
