This delicious, savory snack swaps the cinnamon and sugar for garlic and rosemary. These savory spiced nuts roast in your slow cooker and make a great homemade gift for your favorite snack lover.
Ingredients
1 Tbsp garlic olive oil (see notes)
5 cups mixed nuts
1 tsp EACH – brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried rosemary OR 2 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Place the nuts in your slow cooker. Add olive oil and stir until the nuts are coated.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and rosemary.

Add the spice mixture to your slow cooker and stir until all of the nuts are well-coated.
Put the lid on your slow cooker and set it to low.
Cook nuts for 2 hours, stirring every 20 mins or so.
Spread the warm, savory spiced nuts out on a rimmed baking sheet.

Allow to cool completely before enjoying or storing in your pantry.

Notes on Savory Spiced Nuts
- Regular olive oil works great here if you don’t have garlic olive oil on hand or don’t love garlic as much as we do.
- If you like a little heat, add 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper to the spice mixture.
- These spiced nuts will keep for up to a month in your pantry. They’re the perfect make-ahead snack for your homemade happy hours or any time you’re entertaining!
