Color-Changing Unicorn Lemonade

Ingredients:  – White sugar – Water – Butterfly pea flowers – Lemons – Purple or Pink decorating sugar (for garnish) – Edible glitter (optional garnish)

Make a weak simple syrup by combining hot water and sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Add butterfly pea flowers to create a blue syrup. Let the flowers steep for 5-7 minutes before straining them out of the syrup.

Rim glasses by running a slice of lemon around the top of the glass or dip the glass in a little water. Dip the rim in the colored sugar.

Fill the glass with ice. Pour blue syrup into your prepared glass.

SLOWLY pour fresh lemon juice on top of the ice so it floats on top of the syrup.

Dust with edible glitter, if using.

Present with a spoon or straw and instructions to stir well before sipping! Enjoy!
