Easy Tomato Rice & Beans

What you need: 

Long grain rice, uncooked Canned diced tomatoes Water Garlic powder Onion powder Chili powder  Salt Olive oil 1 small onion 2 cloves garlic A can of black beans Chopped cilantro (optional)

Add the liquid from a can of tomatoes + enough water to yield 2 cups. Pour into a small pot with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and salt. 

Bring to boil. Cook rice in tomato juice/water mixture until it's tender. 

In a separate pan, cook garlic and onion.

Add canned tomatoes and black beans. 

Once rice is done, add it to pan with tomato/bean mixture. 

Stir everything together to combine. Fold in chopped cilantro. Enjoy!
