A fun purple color for Spooky Season, this delicious and easy Halloween gin cocktail plays a little trick with a disappearing cotton candy "ghost."

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz indigo gin, like Empress Gin
  • 1.5 oz peach syrup
  • 2 dashes peach bitters
  • cotton candy (white or purple)
  • decorating sugar (garnish - green, black, orange, or purple)
  • dehydrated orange slice (garnish)

Instructions

Pour sugar onto a small, shallow dish.

Run a lemon slice along the top of a stemmed glass (like a coupe or martini glass).

Run the rim of the glass in the sugar.

Pile a heap of cotton candy into your glass.

Set aside.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, combine lemon juice, gin, peach syrup, and peach bitters.

Shake well.

Strain your cocktail over the cotton candy in the glass and watch it disappear!

Garnish with a slice of dehydrated orange.

Sip and enjoy!
