Instructions
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat.
Add 1 cup of sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add fresh mint to the mixture and let it steep until the syrup cools to room temperature.
Remove the mint leaves using a fine mesh sieve.
Store your mint syrup in a glass, airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
