Instructions
Add blackberries and lime juice to a cocktail shaker.
4 fresh blackberries,
0.75 ounce lime juice
Muddle to crush the berries.
Add the mint leaves and vanilla simple syrup to the shaker.

2.5 ounces vanilla simple syrup
Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
Shake well for 10 seconds.
Double strain through a fine mesh strainer held over a coupe or martini glass.
Top with sparkling water.

Give your drink a gentle stir.
Garnish with fresh blackberries and/or a sprig of mint.
Notes
You may need to tip the shaker back and forth a few times while straining your drink to get all of the liquid out.
