Instructions
Prep your glass:
Pour a small amount of grenadine on a shallow plate. On a second shallow plate, pour some of the decorating sugar.
Dip the rim of a tall, highball glass first into the grenadine, then dip it straight into the black decorating sugar.
For a traditional drink:
Add grenadine to the glass and fill the glass with ice cubes.
Top with lemon lime soda, pouring slowly over the ice to create layers.
Garnish with maraschino cherries. Stir, sip, and enjoy!
For a Halloween syringe drink:
Use a plastic syringe to draw up an ounce of grenadine. Set aside.
Fill your prepared glass ¾ of the way with ice cubes. Pour lemon lime soda in the glass until it reaches the top of the ice.
Add in the plastic syringe - tip down - pushing the entire syringe down into the glass.
To serve, press the plunger down to dispense the grenadine into the glass.
Garnish with maraschino cherries. Stir, sip, and enjoy!
