This Fresh Raspberry Margarita is made with muddled raspberries, fresh lime juice, silver tequila, orange liqueur, and simple syrup for a bright, fruity cocktail that’s perfectly balanced. Finished with a sugar- or salt-rimmed glass, this easy margarita recipe is ideal for summer parties, taco night, or anytime you’re craving a fresh fruit margarita at home.
Run a slice of lime around the rim of a rocks glass.
Pour the sugar in a shallow dish. Dip the rim of your glass into the sugar. Fill your glass with ice cubes and set aside.

Place the raspberries in a cocktail shaker.

Add lime juice and muddle to crush the berries.
1 oz lime juice
Add tequila, simple syrup, and orange liqueur.
2 oz silver tequila, 1.25 oz simple syrup, 0.5 oz orange liqueur
Fill the shaker half full with ice.
Cover and shake well.
Double strain your drink through a fine mesh sieve into your prepared glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and/or fresh raspberries. Enjoy!
Notes
To make the simple syrup: Combine 1/2 cup of hot water with 1/2 cup of white sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Place the syrup in the refrigerator. Cool completely before using.
