    • Strawberry Limeade Mocktail

Nothing says summer quite like the combination of sweet strawberries and zesty lime. This homemade strawberry limeade drink is the perfect balance of refreshing and flavorful, making it a must-have for a warm-weather happy hour. Whether you're hosting a backyard barbecue, a brunch with friends, baby showers, or simply craving a delicious non-alcoholic drink, this mocktail is sure to be a hit.

Strawberry season is short-lived here in Michigan, so this easy strawberry limeade recipe is my go-to summer drink during berry season. The natural sweetness of ripe strawberries pairs beautifully with the tart citrus, while a splash of fizzy club soda brings it all together. It’s a simple yet impressive drink that looks just as good as it tastes.

Best of all, this delicious drink is easy to make with just a handful of ingredients easily found at your local grocery store. You can prepare the strawberry syrup and juice the limes ahead of time, so when it’s time to serve, all you need to do is shake, pour, and top with bubbly soda water. Garnish with fresh strawberries and lime for a picture-perfect presentation, and enjoy a sip of sunshine in every glass! Perfect for a hot summer day!

What’s in a Strawberry Limeade Mocktail

    Ingredients for Strawberry Lime Mocktails.
    • Strawberry Syrup - Homemade strawberry syrup takes 3 ingredients and about 10 minutes to make. Get the recipe and instructions over on my Strawberry Simple Syrup recipe page.
    • Limes - Skip the bottled lime juice and limeade concentrate. Fresh citrus gives the best flavor in any drink, so squeeze some fresh limes for your mocktail. You’ll need about 1 lime per drink.
    • Orange Blossom Water - This non-alcoholic flavored water adds a really nice flavor element to the drink.
    • Club Soda - You need a fizzy water here, so either use club soda or sparkling water. Lime or strawberry sparkling water are delicious alternatives. If you like your drinks sweet, swap out the club soda for a lemon-lime soda like Sprite.

How to Make Strawberry Limeade (Step by Step)

Lime juice being poured into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes in it.

Combine strawberry syrup, lime juice, and orange blossom water in a cocktail shaker half filled with ice.

Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

Garnish with a lime wedge and/or fresh strawberry slices. Stir, sip and enjoy!

    Make Homemade Strawberry Syrup

Making your own strawberry syrup takes 10 minutes and uses only 3 ingredients. Choose either sweet ripe strawberries or frozen strawberries for this easy syrup. Get the recipe and step-by-step instructions over on my Strawberry Simple Syrup page.

    Recipe Tips

    • Want to make it a cocktail? Add a splash of vodka or white rum (1-2 ounces) to the cocktail shaker alongside the syrup and lime juice.
    • Make the strawberry syrup ahead of time so it has time to chill in the refrigerator.
    • If you plan to make a large batch of Strawberry Limeade mocktails, juice your limes ahead of time. Store the fresh juice in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve. Because it's fresh juice with nothing added, it will separate slightly as it sits. Just give it a good shake before using.

Make Strawberry Limeade by the Pitcher

Want to make a large batch of Strawberry Limeade for a party? Make full batch of my strawberry simple syrup. That should give you 14 ounces of syrup. In a pitcher or punch bowl, combine the strawberry syrup, 7 ounces of lime juice (about 7 limes), 2 ounces of orange blossom water, and 22 ounces of club soda or sparkling water. Give it a good stir and serve over ice. (Serves 7)

Note: Don't add ice cubes to the pitcher or it will water down your strawberry limeade as the ice melts. Instead chill the pitcher of drinks in the refrigerator and use the ice in the individual glasses when you serve it.
