    • Homemade Raspberry Lemonade Recipe

If you love the sweet-tart combination of raspberries and lemons, this easy homemade raspberry lemonade recipe is sure to become a favorite. Plus, making it from scratch means you can adjust the sweetness to your liking, ensuring a perfectly balanced drink every time!

Using simple ingredients and homemade raspberry syrup means no artificial flavors or preservatives in this easy drink recipe, unlike store-bought lemonade. Naturally sweet and tangy, the tartness of fresh lemons pairs perfectly with the rich, fruity sweetness of raspberries. Bonus - Raspberry lemonade has a naturally gorgeous color with the deep pink hue from the raspberry syrup.

Fresh raspberry lemonade is a drink you’ll want to make all summer long (and beyond)! Serve it at your next backyard barbecue or picnic. A cool, fruity lemonade is the perfect way to beat the heat of the summer months, making this lemonade is an ideal addition to a summer baby shower or bridal shower.

We love to keep a pitcher of this homemade raspberry lemonade in the fridge for an easy, homemade alternative to store-bought drinks. My daughter often enjoys it after school in a fancy glass with fresh raspberries for a pretty and refreshing drink.

    What’s in Homemade Raspberry Lemonade

    Ingredients for raspberry lemonade.
    • Lemons - Fresh lemons make a huge difference in the flavor of your lemonade. You’ll need 6-8 large lemons for this recipe. If you decide to go with bottled lemon juice, choose a high quality one. I like Real Lemon brand.
    • Raspberry Syrup - Homemade raspberry simple syrup will give you all the sweetness and raspberry flavor without the pulp and seeds. Get my recipe and easy instructions on my Raspberry Simple Syrup page.
    • Water - Choose filtered water for the best flavor.
    • Lemons, raspberries, fresh mint - Fresh garnish options for your glasses of lemonade.

How to Make Raspberry Lemonade (Step by Step)

Water being poured into a pitcher with lemon juice and raspberry syrup.

In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, raspberry syrup, and cold water. Stir well.

    Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve in glasses filled with lots of ice cubes.

A hand placing a cocktail pick of fresh raspberry garnish on a glass of raspberry lemonade.

Garnish with mint sprigs, fresh raspberries, and lemon wedges.

Store leftover lemonade in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Tip: Don’t put ice cubes or an ice ring in your pitcher or punch bowl! Put the ice in the glasses instead to avoid it melting in the pitcher and watering down your lemonade.

    Make Homemade Raspberry Syrup

This lemonade recipe depends on raspberry simple syrup for both its sweetness and raspberry flavor. Make your own raspberry simple syrup in 10 minutes using three ingredients. Visit my Raspberry Syrup page for the recipe and instructions.

    Make it Spiked Raspberry Lemonade

Want to make this ? Add a splash of vodka to the glasses when serving. Or set out some mini bottles of vodka by the lemonade pitcher. This keeps the vodka out of the whole pitcher so it stays something everyone can enjoy.
