The holiday season is here, and there’s no better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with a sweet, spiced drink in hand! If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic option that brings all the warmth and cheer of the season, this Gingerbread Mocktail is the perfect choice.

Two tall glasses of gingerbread mocktails garnished with dried oranges, cinnamon sticks, and straws.

With its sweet, spiced gingerbread syrup, creamy texture, and a bubbly ginger kick, this mocktail captures the essence of holiday flavors without the alcohol. Whether you’re hosting a festive gathering or enjoying a quiet night in, this mocktail is perfect for the whole family and sure to be a favorite.

We’re skipping the cocktail shaker and making this delicious drink right in the glass. I love a simple garnish on drinks, especially this time of year when things are busy. Just use a cinnamon stick to top these non-alcoholic cocktails in no time.

The magic of this Gingerbread Mocktail is in the homemade gingerbread syrup that’s easy to make and packed with spices like cinnamon, fresh ginger, and cloves. This syrup infuses the mocktail with a cozy, holiday flavor that will remind you of fresh-baked gingerbread cookies.

What’s in a Gingerbread Mocktail?

Ingredients in a Gingerbread Mocktail.
  • Gingerbread Syrup – Make your own in less than 10 minutes with my homemade gingerbread syrup recipe
  • Heavy Cream – This is an optional ingredient, and one that I love. Use half and half if you prefer. If you don’t have any on hand, or want a non-dairy option, just leave out the cream.
  • Ginger Beer – Choose your favorite brand of ginger beer for this recipe. I like Goslings because it’s super spicy. If you want to tone down the ginger flavor, use ginger ale instead of ginger beer.

Top with ginger beer.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick, dehydrated orange slice, or tiny gingerbread man. Stir, sip and enjoy!

Note: This drink will start to separate the longer it sits, but that does NOT impact its flavor or mean anything is wrong with it. If this happens, just stir your drink well and it’ll come right back together.
