Make Blue Curacao Syrup

This homemade, non-alcoholic blue curaƧao syrup is the backbone of all of the drink recipes on this page. It’s used in each one for both sweetness and to add the blue color. For the cocktails, you can swap it out for a blue curaƧao liqueur if you prefer.

Blue CuraƧao syrup is a sweet citrus flavored syrup that’s heavy on the orange flavor. (It’s named for oranges from the island of CuraƧao.) You can make it with the artificial blue food coloring found in the baking aisle at the grocery store or use blue spirulina powder for an all natural blue food coloring.
