Celebrate delicious summer fruits with this fun drink! Made with simple ingredients and fresh fruit, this Strawberry Mocktail with Pineapple is the perfect drink for sipping on hot summer days.
Fancy drinks like this strawberry mocktail are ideal for backyard BBQs, bridal showers, a baby shower, and so many other special occasions. Offering both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks is a great way to ensure all of you guests can enjoy tasty drinks.
A non-alcoholic drink that looks like its alcoholic counterparts is the goal of every mocktail I make. There are a lot of reasons people choose not to drink and many of those are very personal.
Creating mocktails that are equally as fancy as cocktails means people can mix and mingle without giving a second thought to what’s in their glass, keeping the awkward conversations at bay.
This virgin cocktail is much more than a strawberry mocktail spritzer. With fresh herbs, fresh fruit, and homemade simple syrup shaken up in a cocktail shaker, it's full of flavor and the perfect sip for those who love fruity drinks.
Strawberry Mocktail Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries - If you can't find fresh berries, thaw a frozen strawberry (or 3-4 slices) to make this mocktail.
- Fresh mint - No substitute here. Fresh mint is needed in this mocktail.
- Fresh orange - Fresh orange juice makes a big difference in this recipe, so squeeze a fresh fruit.
- Pineapple juice - Choose 100% pineapple juice for this recipe.
- Simple syrup - Made with 2 pantry ingredients, simple syrup is easy to make at home. Be sure to make it at least a few hours (or days) ahead of time so it has time to cool completely before using.
- Elderflower water - Elderflower water is found in more liquor stores by the bitters. The bottle look similar, though there is zero alcohol in elderflower water. I like what it adds to this drink, but if you don’t have any, leave it out.
- Sparkling water or club soda - Take your pick!

Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits to use for creating drinks. I always pick waaaay too many Michigan strawberries in the summer, so I freeze them for smoothies, to use in strawberry simple syrup (for watermelon strawberry mocktails), and to make these frozen virgin strawberry daiquiris.
