    Pumpkin Ginger Martini

    Fall is full of pumpkin spice everything! Ginger is one of those spices, but its cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove cousins overwhelm it. This Pumpkin Ginger Martini is perfect for pumpkin lovers needing a break from the full suite of pumpkin pie spices.

    Plain pumpkin can taste very vegetal, but a little ginger and brown sugar brings this cocktail to life and lets the pumpkin flavor shine through.

    Ginger and brown sugar warm up the flavor of a Pumpkin Ginger Martini while fresh lemon balances it out and keeps the cocktail from being too sweet. 

    What's in a Pumpkin Ginger Cocktail?

    Ingredients for Pumpkin Ginger Martinis.
    • Pumpkin infused vodka - I highly recommend making this yourself. You just need 2 ingredients and a few days for it to infuse.
    • Ginger liqueur - Choose your favorite brand.
    • Brown sugar syrup - This 2 ingredient syrup add sweetness and depth of flavor. Get my instructions for making it at home in the microwave over on my Brown Sugar Syrup Recipe page.
    • Lemon - Fresh citrus always tastes best in cocktails, so squeeze fresh lemon for this drink. You'll need about a
    • Ginger ale - Choose your favorite brand. (Note: substituting with ginger beer will give a stronger ginger flavor that may overpower the flavor of the pumpkin vodka.)

    How to Make a Pumpkin Vodka Ginger Martini (Step by Step)

    Place vodka, ginger liqueur, brown sugar syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker full of ice.

    Shake and strain into a coupe or martini glass.

    • Citrus Reamer
    • Cocktail Shaker
    • Martini Glasses
    • Coupe Glasses

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 oz pumpkin infused vodka
    • 0.75 oz ginger liqueur
    • 0.5 oz brown sugar syrup
    • 0.25 oz lemon juice fresh squeezed
    • 1.5 oz ginger ale or ginger beer

    Instructions
     

    • Place vodka, ginger liqueur, brown sugar syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker full of ice cubes. 
      2 oz pumpkin infused vodka, 0.75 oz ginger liqueur, 0.5 oz brown sugar syrup, 0.25 oz lemon juice
    • Shake and strain into a coupe or martini glass. 
    • Top with ginger ale. 
      1.5 oz ginger ale
    • Enjoy!
